Come and See Our Story

Located at the heart of the village, the old Rivière-Bleue Train Station is the only Transcontinental station that has been preserved. It has become a valuable testament to another époque and to the great adventure of developing an immense area named after the National Transcontinental Railway.

Once Upon a Time, in Rivière-Bleue

In what once served as a freightroom, the exhibition tells the story of Rivière-Bleue from 1850 to 1950, from its first inhabitants, the family of John Morrison and Angélique Levasseur, and that of Joseph Nadeau and Christine Cyr, to the great mill era. Forest and agriculture, church and schools, nothing is lacking in this typical hinterland village of the first half of the 20th century. Not even the bootleggers. (in french)
